Please remember a 3year old girl (Lexi) who will find out this week if she has cancer or not. She comes with Wayne and me to Tennga to church when her grandmother allows her to. Her mom and dad are both in prison for dealing drugs and her mom is serving 10years for vehicular homicide and her grandmother is raising her. Please keep her in your prayers.

Prayer Request!!!

The first time I came to Hardee's in Hixson, you were there. You were there again tonight. You are an AWESOME group and I very much enjoy seeing you.

I have 3 prayer requests. First, my oldest daughter, Dianne, has MS and is in the process of recovering form a serious relapse. Please pray that her recovery will continue and that she will be back on her feet soon. I pray that her strength and stamina return so that she can do the things she enjoys doing a little longer. Second, I pray for a very good friend, Jimmy. He has serious health issues -- serious enough that his doctors say he should be on disability because he can not work at his job enough to support his family. He's now fighting that battle with Social Security. Pray that his medical and financial situation will improve so that he may get the medicines he needs (he has no insurance) and that he can once again insure his family has what they need. I pray that he gets some relief from the worries he is suffering with now. Third, my cousin Ann is having an MRI in the morning to try and determine what is causing extreme pain in her back. Her health is a bit fragile, and I pray for answers for her.

I HAVE AN IMPORTANT PRAYER REQUEST.... AS WE ALL KNOW THE ECONOMY IS NOT GOING TOO WELL AND PEOPLE ARE LOSING ALMOST EVERYTHING THEY HAVE. BUSINESSES ARE CLOSING DOORS, AND PEOPLE ARE OUT OF A JOB. NO MONEY, NO FOOD ON THE TABLE TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES AND SUCH... THE TRUCKING BUSINESSES ARE BEGINNING TO FEEL THE PINCH AS WELL. MY HUSBAND CAME HOME AND TOLD ME THAT PRAYER WILL BE WHAT WILL KEEP HIM EMPLOYED AS A TRUCK DRIVER. THEY ARE LAYING FF PEOPLE LEFT AND RIGHT AND HE IS NOW THREE AWAY FROM NOT HAVING A JOB. SO I AM ASKING YOU ALL WHO ARE BELIEVERS TO PRAY FOR US AND NOT ONLY FOR US BUT FOR THE GUYS WHO HAVE JUST BEEN LAID OFF AND FOR OUR NATIONS ECONOMY. "I would like to submit a prayer request for my husband, Roger Divel, as he suffered a full blown stroke (CVA) on Aug 19th. He was misdiagnosed by the hospital as a viral infection. How could this be? We do not have insurance, he is self-employed and I lost my job a couple of years ago, as I was the insurance carrier. I am looking for a part-time and/or a full-time position. I currently babysit my 2 grandchildren 2 1/2 days a week. This will really put a strain on my son's family if I have to go back to work full-time. I need a job with benefits whether it be full-time or part-time. Please keep our family in your prayers.

Prayer Request From Sarah Young for her 3 yr old Son!

Hi, This is Sarah Young. My father, David Satterfield, is the choir director at Tennga Baptist Church. I have 3 year old twin sons. One of my boys, Robby, has been complaining of not being able to hear very well. We took him to the doctor today, and they said we have to have further testing. My family doctor said he is concerned. He did a routine hearing screen that didn't turn out good. He believes he has nerve damage to the 8Th Cranial Nerve. If it is, it cannot be fixed. I am praying that God will heal my son. I know God can and will heal my baby. Please pray!!! Thank you!!

Pray for Brother Terry Bryant

Well I went to my cancer doctor today and received the report from the 8/6/08 PET/CT scan. The report was not good. The Chemo procedure has not diminished or stoped the lympe cancer. I did not receive a chemo treatment today, since it is not working. Dr Johnson referred me to a cancer specialist at Vanderbuilt Hospital in Nashville. I will see Dr Bruce Roth on this coming Tue 8/19/08 for special treatments. I am trusting that God will guide the physician or move on by behalf for complete healing. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I am coming to you with an urgent prayer request for a very dear friend of New Day Gospel Singers. We ran into Brother Tony Dykes Saturday in the parking lot of Walmart in Lafayette, GA. he was just diagnosed with cancer by his doctors. This Brother is a dear saint of God and I know that his faith lies in Christ Jesus and by the prayers of fellow saints of God the Lord will most certainly give him strength for the days that lie ahead of him. He will probably have to have some sort of radiation therapy in the days ahead so please keep him and his family in your prayers. Pray for the Greesons as they minister in song all of God's singing groups and soloists need to band together and if we know of anyone that needs prayer we need to let it be known.
