We have several prayer requests to pray about. On our newsletter Mellisa Wilson wrote to pray for her and her husband as they are having a baby. Also a Baby named Ryder he's 8 months old, the baby has Meningitis and is at Chattanooga Children's Hospital. Another is a 2 year old child that has Leukemia. This child is having a very hard time with this. Shiloh Baptist church in Decatur Tn, also needs prayers. They just received a new pastor and need your prayers for the pastor and their members. Today Janine's brother committed suicide, and Janine is devistated by all that has happened in her family in the last few months.

Arlene Wagner, a friend of Chris and Teresa, is having a heart cath 9-9-09, tomorrow, so please pray for her. This is a dear Godly women who has always ministered to others s0 let's lift her up to God. Pray for Divine intervention.
Ms. Virginia, a dear friend of all the members and friends of 2x2, had surgery recently for a hernia and the Dr. removed 45 pounds from her and she is not feeling very well. Pray for God to heal this wonderful saint.
Some others dear friends of 2x2, Danny and Rita, need us to pray for a situation in their family. Pray that God would grant them wisdom and strength.
James and Sherrie, two other wonderful friends of 2x2, need us to pray for their family members. James' mother will be having dialysis treatments several times a week. Pray that God would sustain James and Sherrie and heal James' mom.
Chris and Teresa need you to pray for some couples that they know. Further information is not needed, just pray that God would intervene and save those that are lost and deliver the captives.
Chris and Teresa would also like you for you to pray for a family situation that is going on at this time.
Continue to pray that God would protect and preserve the members of 2x2 and that He will continue to give us souls for our labor. The fields are white to Harvest and we are the workmen! We must need be about the Father's business!

Over the past few months I have had numerous people coming to me and requesting prayer for their jobs as well. In todays time we are facing things we as Americans and Christians have never seen before. If we all bond together and pray for these times in America in one mind and one accord God will move! God knows who these people are and all we ask is you pray that the Lord will keep them in his hands of Mercy and provide for them the work they need. We received word the other day that a friend of my wife's grandson was in dire need of prayer. The young , Luke Cook, had a procedure done Sunday to replace a shunt in his head, and as of Wednesday he had still not regained consciousness.

Chris called yesterday and requested prayer for Teresas Dad. He is having chest pains and hurting in his arm. At the hospital they said that it wasn't a heart attack Praise the Lord, but they were concerned and was running some test. Lets keep him in prayers for healing throughout his body! God Bless, 2x2

I have a prayer request for my cousin Chris Powers. I don't know if you remember me telling you about my stomach problems, but my cousin has the same thing I do(gastroparesis). Thank God I am doing so much better with all the praying I did and all the prayers from friends and family. Well he has the same thing but his is a lot worse then mine was and I was really bad off. But I know through prayer God can heal him. So please pray for him and have everyone you know praying. Keep up Gods work! I love all of yall.Heather

Ok here's an update on my mom, I know it's been awhile but it's a slow process. We will be going tomorrow to a Neurologist at Erlanger Hospital who specializes in Seizures. Dr. Rankine already has her previous test there at his office and has been studying her case. Keep her in your prayers that this is the Dr. God has for her, so the seizures will stop or at least get better. She has had 7 since the middle of December so that is a whole lot better than 4 to 5 a day. Thank you to all my friends and family for your prayers thus far. Also, remember my aunt Jewel, her cancer has come back again and she has started Chemo.Love you all dearly, Lisa

Chris called tonight with some prayer request. First there is a man named Frank who has blood in his urine and is having test run. Lets remember Frank in our prayers! Also a Lady named Becky Ogle went to the doctor and there is a possibility she has Cancer. Lets pray that when the test are done no cancer will be there! Also a lady Chris works with named Robin her mother is going in on Tuesday to have a tumor removed from her brain. Lets pray for her during this time! I also have a request for a family here in Cleveland, as many of you will know and some will not know, a Mother and two Children died this morning in a house fire. The mother was 28 and the kids were 2&3 one boy and one girl. Lets keep this family in prayers as they are going thru this time in their lives. Please lift all of these request to the Lord and lets pray for one another! We love you all!!!

The first time I came to Hardee's in Hixson, you were there. You were there again tonight. You are an AWESOME group and I very much enjoy seeing you.

I have 3 prayer requests. First, my oldest daughter, Dianne, has MS and is in the process of recovering form a serious relapse. Please pray that her recovery will continue and that she will be back on her feet soon. I pray that her strength and stamina return so that she can do the things she enjoys doing a little longer. Second, I pray for a very good friend, Jimmy. He has serious health issues -- serious enough that his doctors say he should be on disability because he can not work at his job enough to support his family. He's now fighting that battle with Social Security. Pray that his medical and financial situation will improve so that he may get the medicines he needs (he has no insurance) and that he can once again insure his family has what they need. I pray that he gets some relief from the worries he is suffering with now. Third, my cousin Ann is having an MRI in the morning to try and determine what is causing extreme pain in her back. Her health is a bit fragile, and I pray for answers for her.

NO MONEY, NO FOOD ON THE TABLE TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES AND SUCH... THE TRUCKING BUSINESSES ARE BEGINNING TO FEEL THE PINCH AS WELL. MY HUSBAND CAME HOME AND TOLD ME THAT PRAYER WILL BE WHAT WILL KEEP HIM EMPLOYED AS A TRUCK DRIVER. THEY ARE LAYING FF PEOPLE LEFT AND RIGHT AND HE IS NOW THREE AWAY FROM NOT HAVING A JOB. SO I AM ASKING YOU ALL WHO ARE BELIEVERS TO PRAY FOR US AND NOT ONLY FOR US BUT FOR THE GUYS WHO HAVE JUST BEEN LAID OFF AND FOR OUR NATIONS ECONOMY. "I would like to submit a prayer request for my husband, Roger Divel, as he suffered a full blown stroke (CVA) on Aug 19th. He was misdiagnosed by the hospital as a viral infection. How could this be? We do not have insurance, he is self-employed and I lost my job a couple of years ago, as I was the insurance carrier. I am looking for a part-time and/or a full-time position. I currently babysit my 2 grandchildren 2 1/2 days a week. This will really put a strain on my son's family if I have to go back to work full-time. I need a job with benefits whether it be full-time or part-time. Please keep our family in your prayers.

Hi, This is Sarah Young. My father, David Satterfield, is the choir director at Tennga Baptist Church. I have 3 year old twin sons. One of my boys, Robby, has been complaining of not being able to hear very well. We took him to the doctor today, and they said we have to have further testing. My family doctor said he is concerned. He did a routine hearing screen that didn't turn out good. He believes he has nerve damage to the 8Th Cranial Nerve. If it is, it cannot be fixed. I am praying that God will heal my son. I know God can and will heal my baby. Please pray!!! Thank you!!

Well I went to my cancer doctor today and received the report from the 8/6/08 PET/CT scan. The report was not good. The Chemo procedure has not diminished or stoped the lympe cancer. I did not receive a chemo treatment today, since it is not working. Dr Johnson referred me to a cancer specialist at Vanderbuilt Hospital in Nashville. I will see Dr Bruce Roth on this coming Tue 8/19/08 for special treatments. I am trusting that God will guide the physician or move on by behalf for complete healing. We ran into Brother Tony Dykes Saturday in the parking lot of Walmart in Lafayette, GA. he was just diagnosed with cancer by his doctors. This Brother is a dear saint of God and I know that his faith lies in Christ Jesus and by the prayers of fellow saints of God the Lord will most certainly give him strength for the days that lie ahead of him. He will probably have to have some sort of radiation therapy in the days ahead so please keep him and his family in your prayers.
